Today on /. there is an interesting summaryto an article detailing how much effort the NSA went to in order to create SELinux. There is also some more information on how effective hardening a machine really is. Check it out if you are interested.

Recently I have been scouring the internet for things I have used in the past for my own learning, since I am sure they will be of value to others. In the next few days expect a bunch of links to be popping up on the tutorials page. Most will not be made by either pinb@ll or myself, but by others across the web that, through one way or another, have taught us.

Pinb@ll and t1lt are two people interested in two different realms of computer security. Pinb@ll is interested in the good side of the realm such as customizing and securing your own computer, while t1lt is interested in the exploitation area. Both have learned their skills through courses or personal experience, but both share the desire to both teach, and more importantly, learn from others.
